I grew up in Escondido and attended L. R. Green School and San Pasqual High School. Both my mother and grandmother were teachers, and from a young age I dreamed of being a teacher too.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at the University of San Diego. The fall semester of my junior year I studied education and the arts in Oxford, England. It was there I fell in love with traveling and was able to see many parts of Europe during my four-month study abroad.
My husband and I live in Carlsbad with our very lovable labrador named Lily. We love to hike, snowboard, go to the beach, and travel.
For the past two years I have taught fifth grade here at this beautiful, little school in the valley. This year I am very excited about teaching third grade! I am passionate about teaching and committed to helping each of my students reach his or her potential.
