Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Narez

I am very excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I would like each and every one of you to feel welcome to come into “our” classroom any time to be a part of your child’s learning. I have enjoyed getting to know all of your children the past few weeks of school so far, and cannot wait to get to know them even more. Our class has already started growing and learning as a “classroom community- full of motivated, independent and caring students.

I’m so happy to be a part of a wonderful and caring community. Thank you for welcoming me as a new teacher here at San Pasqual K-8 School.  For those of you who I have not met, my name is Amanda Narez. I attended California State University San Marcos, majoring in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Literacy. I am originally from a small town in Northern California, called Hollister. I have an older brother and sister. Being an auntie of 6 keeps me busy and remembering how fun it is to play and laugh! I don’t have kiddos of my own yet- but cannot wait to have children and a family someday. I love cooking, being outdoors, music, traveling, spending time with family & friends and animals.

I have been a teacher in San Diego Unified for 6 years, mostly grades K-2 and was a Reading support teacher for K-3rd grade as well. I enjoy teaching all subjects, but I love to teach reading, writing and Science- they are my favorite! During my summers and weekends I coach soccer for ages 2-7, and work at SeaWorld in their education and animal departments.

I truly believe that children can love learning and achieve their learning goals in the classroom - given high expectations, support, encouragement and an engaging learning environment. I hope your child feels happy, safe and excited to learn each and every day!

Thank you for all of your support and involvement. I look forward to working with all of you!
