Teaching Mission & Vision
Teaching at San Pasqual Union is an honor, to follow in the footsteps of the amazing teachers that came before me to teach at the Little School in the Valley. It’s amazing our little school has reached its 100th birthday! As I start my 19th year of teaching, I am excited to spend my days with the middle school kids and watch as they grow into high schoolers. It is a pivotal time for them and I appreciate having meaningful relationships and interactions with them as they explore their world. Writing is my passion and sometimes students are reluctant to share, but it allows students to express themselves and reflect on their learning. We will write everyday! Reading can be challenging for some students at this time in their life and I hope to inspire and encourage those readers that may be frustrated. As we begin this new school year, I hope for my students a wonderful, fun filled year ~ with many friends and positive experiences.
