SPU is committed to providing each student with a challenging and rigorous curriculum appropriate to his/her academic level. We believe every child can achieve academic success. Our goal is to provide every child with quality instructional experiences which recognize, support and maintain high expectations for all students. Teams of exceptional educators have received professional development and collaborated over the past year to create STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) lessons for all grade levels that will complement our implementation the Common Core and Project Based Learning. By adding this focus to our instructional program, we are further preparing our students with 21st century skills necessary for their success in college and career.
As your Superintendent/Principal, I ask for your support, ideas, suggestions and involvement.
