After School & Enrichment
Athletics and enrichment activities are integral components of a well-rounded education. They contribute to physical health, social development, academic success, and the cultivation of essential life skills that prepare students to thrive in a diverse and dynamic world. Here at SPU, we offer several opportunities for our students, including sports opportunities for our middle school students, choir, and more. Check out the opportunities available from the menu.
SPU Athletics helps to build school spirit and the well being of the entire student body. In Middle School, students have the opportunity to join boys, girls interscholastic sports teams, and compete against other schools.
SPU Saintsational Choir is open to 6th-8th grade students. Choir rehearsals are once a week with trimester performances throughout the year. For more information, click above.
The SPUSD Library is open before and after school and available to classes on a weekly basis. It houses over 14,000 books, as well as a computer lab for students to study or take AR quizzes.
SPU Garden club meets once a week, after school, and is open to 3rd and 4th graders. The club offers opportunities for students to discover the source of fresh food, make healthier food choices, and experience our connection to the natural world.
Physical education significantly contributes to students’ well-being; therefore, it is an instructional priority for California schools and an integral part of our students’ educational experience.
