To reach out to our community, sow the seeds of education in our young children, nourish their development socially, intellectually, physically and emotionally and grow them into vibrant, healthy contributors to our world. 

San Pasqual Union School's Preschool fulfills the vision of SPU to provide quality Pre-Kindergarten education for the residents of San Pasqual Union School District. SPU Preschool is not a daycare but an advanced, early-start curriculum designed to give your child a head start in Kindergarten.  The program is created by the staff at SPU and is designed to integrate with programs for Kindergarten and beyond at San Pasqual Union School.  The classroom is in a convenient location on campus, with classes taught by certified teachers and qualified aides.

If you are interested in enrolling your child in our program, please fill out the New Family Interest Form.
Filling out a New Family Interest Form does not guarantee a spot in our program.  Once the form is completed, you will be added to our Waiting List. 

After submitting the form, please allow 1-2 business days to hear from us! ​If we have availability, we will reach out and schedule a tour.

Thank you for expressing interest in our preschool program. If you have not already done so, please fill out a New Family Interest Form. Admission is prioritized for children who live within the San Pasqual Union School District boundaries.  When space is available, admission may be opened up to families living outside the District boundaries. As soon as San Pasqual Union School has the entire enrollment information, your child will be considered for placement in our preschool program. To be considered for placement, please complete and sign the following enrollment information and return to the District Office at 15305 Rockwood Road. Once your child has been accepted into our preschool program, and all required paperwork/fees are submitted, they can start school within 48 hours.

Required for Admission:

1. Proof of Birth Date: Proof of birth date must be a legal birth certificate, a duly attested baptismal  certificate, a passport, or an immigration card. 

2. Proof of Residence/Address: Residence is defined as the place where the student and parent/guardian physically reside regularly. This may be verified by providing two of the following: (1) rent receipt, escrow or mortgage papers, (2) utility bills addressed to the parent or guardian at an address within the district, (3) voter registration certificate, and (4) tax receipts. 

3. Proof of Immunizations: Immunizations must be up-to-date. A letter from your doctor or clinic listing dates of immunization or an official immunization record is acceptable. For more information visit: ShotsForSchool.org 

4. Potty Trained: Student is/will be toilet trained by the first day of school

• Notification of Parents Rights

• $100 non-refundable registration fee paid through Brightwheel to San Pasqual Union

Students participating in the special education program or receiving services from the Regional Center or any other agency must bring a copy of their most recent IFSP. This is necessary even if the parents no longer wish their student to continue to participate in the special education program.
