    About Superintendent Hargrave
    Shannon Hargrave’s diverse background in both business and education uniquely enables her to lead the San Pasqual Union School District.  She graduated from Alta Loma High School in 1975 as senior class president and immediately went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Cal Poly, Pomona.  Shannon moved to north San Diego County and began a career in sales and marketing.  
    After much consideration Shannon decided to change direction and began a journey in the field of education.    She attended Chapman University for her Multiple Subjects teaching credential and then to Cal State, San Marcos to pursue her Administrative Credential and her Masters in Education.  
    Shannon is currently a member of the Association of California Administrators and has served on the Region 18 Cabinet.  Her honors include  ACSA – Administrator of the Year, CSBA – Golden Bell Recipient, San Diego County Office of Education – Biliteracy Leadership Award, California Distinguished School, and CABE – Distinguished State Administrator of the Year.
    Shannon’s goals are to create TEAMS where Together Everyone Achieves More in her efforts to serve and empower students, parents, teachers, and staff in their pursuit of excellence through education.
