Student Reflection

By Elliana Caicedo

San Pasqual is a phenomenal school with great kids and teachers. A few weeks ago, I had my first day of school at San Pasqual and I felt so welcomed and it was just so natural and not awkward at all.

I’m in my first month and I already have such a nice friend group that I hang out with during the weekends. I feel like I’ve known them forever.

The teachers are so nice and welcoming as well, and they have helped me feel so much more comfortable in the classroom. It was definitely nerve- racking joining a school late but I have come to learn I had nothing to worry about.

Like I said, I was so fearful for the first day of school and these were some of the fears that I had. I worried about not making friends and being behind on school, especially math, but I had no reason to feel those things. The teachers helped me catch up right away, and six girls walked up to me and introduced themselves and now they are my closest friends.

If you find out that there is a new kid coming to your school, I would definitely recommend going up to them to say hi because it makes them feel so much more comfortable and less intimidated.

From just being here for a little while, I already have a lot of friends and it was such a good decision to come here. Thank you San Pasqual for being so welcoming.

Character Counts

We Believe in Building People of Character!

Consistent with SAINTS SOAR, we are also building "TRRFCC" students of character, through the six core pillars: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. These six core ethical values form the foundation of our efforts to teach children how to be people of character in their entire life.  Students are taught these values daily.  Monthly assemblies feature children or lessons that emphasize character.
